Yes, one would think that since I wrote a book about Elvis that I would, most certainly, have visited Graceland a long, long time ago. No, I had not. Yes, Shame on ME!!! Well, I finally beheld “The Promised Land” just last week! And, boyohboy was I tickled pink (Cadillac)!

The ear-to-ear smile never left my stupid face–Until the grave sites. That was very sad.
As a lifelong Elvis fan this trip was long overdue for me. The circle–for me as a fan–is now complete.
I am prouder than ever for having contributed my humble effort, THE KING, into the massive homage to “all things Elvis.”
I actually sat down after visiting Graceland and re-read my book. I was a little nervous that I might find myself wishing I had done some things differently…But, I am very pleased to report that I was able to breathe a very heavy and satisfied breath of relief. I love my effort now as mush as I did 20 years ago (can you believe it?! 20 years!!!) when THE KING was published.
THE KING is literally down to just a small handful of available copies. I only have about 12 copies left, so if you still need one, this website is the place to nab a copy. All orders will be autographed.
In other exciting news…
F.A.R.M. SYSTEM: RAGE has been fully proofread and I finished the final edits last week! It is now in the very capable hands of IDW’s Nathan Widick. Nathan is the person who takes all the finished pages from the artists/writers/creators and packages it all up pretty; adds the Titles, interior graphics, French Flaps, copyright stuff, and makes it an actual BOOK! He makes the damn thing look COOL! I cannot WAIT to see how Nathan polishes up my stuff. It is very exciting.
